The most extreme modification for crank life, RACE COUNTERWEIGHT, adds strength and helps eliminate crank flex and twist, for stronger than normal counterweights, add $100.00. Full Race Weight, ADD $200.00, and available for all VW crankshafts. Wedgemate $195.00 Ultimate modification to stop crank and flywheel separation - recommended for 150 hp and above on hard street use. Use our chromemolyly gland nut - includes crank and flywheel balance - drill 8 pin - polish seal/flywheel - surface flywheel - set endplay size. All wedgemates are assembled and checked for flywheel runout and fit, then balanced - total endplay is stamped on flywheel for easy endplay adjustment, just add correct shim size. It is recommended that endplay be checked without dowel pins before engine assembly - call for more information.
